About Us

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and historical purposes, including, for such purposes the following:

1. To provide a museum for the collection, display, and study of historical items, records, and books relating to the City of Troy and the County of Miami, Ohio:
   
   
2. To encourage the study of the history of the City of Troy and the County of Miami, Ohio;
   
   
3. To cooperate with the Troy Historical Society in promoting the study of the history of the City of Troy and the County of Miami, Ohio;
   
   
4. To provide student tours and study sessions on the history of the City of Troy and the County or Miami, Ohio;
   
   
5. To make distribution of historic items, records, and books to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provisions of  any future United States Internal Revenue Law ; and
   
   
6. To do any and all things necessary or incidental to the above stated purposes
